Melrose Education, a new company who are building a group of Special Educational Needs schools has acquired its first school. Orchard Education Limited, a special educational needs school in Grimsby, became the first school to join the group after it was incorporated last month.
The school, which operates over three sites in North East Lincolnshire, supports learners aged 11 to 16 with a wider range of additional needs, including Cognition and Learning, Communication and Interaction, Social and Emotional Mental Health, and Sensory and Physical, has been a huge part of the local community for many years.
Tracey Storey, Executive Chair and CEO of Melrose Education, said,
